Tom’s big night out in Milwaukee. Highlights include dancing at a Mexican birthday party with a middle aged man in a cowboy hat (who humped Sam and made fun of my dancing) followed by getting cake from a Mexican wedding on a different floor of the venue. The show was pretty fun also.

The cable to upload photos from my camera is in my suitcase which happens to be hundreds of miles away from me right now! So yeah, no real update for now but we’re having a fantastic time on Cool Tour so far, regardless of some serious transport problems. I’ll post a bunch of photos on here when I get my luggage back!

Hi!

So firstly i’d like to apologise for not keeping on top of this thing like I said I was going to! We’re home from LA now and we’ve finished recording our new album. It’s currently being mixed by our new pal Steve Evetts and so far it’s sounding pretty insane. We’re all very excited for you guys to hear this one! Unfortunately I had to fly home at the beginning of our time in LA for reasons that i’m not going to go into on here, so I didn’t really get to take photos like I had planned to. But I did make it back in time to record and to take some photos of assorted hanging out/awesome dogs, which I have posted below this update. Check ‘em out and that.

We’re heading back to North America very soon to go out on the “Cool Tour,” which features a bunch of bands including our friends in Underoath and Cancer Bats. After that we’re making our way up to Canada to gig with our pals in The Holly Springs Disaster on their last tour! All dates can be found at www.myspace.com/architectsuk.

Sorry for the lack of updates on here recently! In all honesty I’ve not had much to write about as we were just back in Brighton finishing up the record which we’re going to record in about a week.

We’ve been in the US since Friday, only managed to play one show though! We had a slot at New England Metal and Hardcore festival and a bunch of other headlining shows but sadly missed them due to delays caused by that big silly volcano in Iceland, lol. But we’re here now and everything is sweet.

We have another headlining show in Amityville, NY and then a few shows with our pals in Protest The Hero. Plus we’re playing Bamboozle in New Jersey which should be ludicrous.

Then we’re off to LA to record for a month or so! We’re all so keen to record this album and get it out to everyone! We’ll be updating on here and Twitter regularly during our time in the studio so keep popping back here for photos and all that…
